The Alzheimer Society is Canada’s leading nationwide health charity for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
We rely on individual and corporate donors, communities and healthcare partners to help us deliver on our mission.
Active in communities across Canada, the Society offers help for today through programs and support services for people living with dementia and caregivers, and hope for tomorrow through fundraising to advance research, advocating for policy change, and increasing public awareness.

At GLA Rehab we support older adults and individuals living with dementia to maintain, improve, and/or restore physical and cognitive functioning so that they can age safely in a place of their choice. We focus on finding solutions to maintain functioning, improve safety, and independence so that our clients can continue to do the things that they need and want to do.
We also understand the complexities of the healthcare system and offer support with system navigation and the management of care services.
Funded by Ontario’s Ministry of Health, The Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) supports the province’s four million caregivers—ordinary people who care for family, friends, or neighbours—by providing a single access point to information and resources. OCO works with caregivers, healthcare providers, and partners to improve the caregiving experience by expanding access to services, addressing gaps, and developing programs together. Through working groups and caregiver collaboration, OCO co-creates supports that meet the diverse needs of caregivers across Ontario.
For information about resources and support for caregivers in your area, call the Ontario Caregiver Helpline: 1-833-416-2273.
